- Phase 1 (DBAL foundation): ✅ Complete
- Phase 1.5 (Workspace setup): ✅ Complete
- Phase 2 (Frontend refactoring): ⏳ Blocked by DBAL build errors
- Phase 3 (Build config): ⏳ Blocked by Phase 2

New discovery: DBAL has pre-existing build issues preventing compilation.
Not rushing ahead - documented in DBAL_BUILD_ISSUES.md.
