Documentation Corrections Summary

Task: Review and correct summary documents

📋 Overview

This document summarizes corrections made to recent summary documentation files to ensure accuracy and consistency across the codebase.

✅ Corrections Made

1. HEALTH_CHECK.md

Issue: Incorrect iteration number
Location: Header (Line 2)
Correction: Changed from "Iteration: 95" to "Iteration: 94"
Reason: Document was written during iteration 94, not 95

2. ERRORS_AND_FINDINGS.md

Issue: Incorrect iteration number
Location: Header (Line 3)
Correction: Changed from "Iteration: 95" to "Iteration: 94"
Reason: Document was written during iteration 94, not 95

3. HOOK_AND_COMPONENT_SUMMARY.md

Issues Found and Corrected:

Issue A: Incomplete showcase description

Location: "Live Demonstration" section
Correction: Added clarification that ComponentShowcase is accessible via "Component Library" in sidebar navigation
Reason: Improves discoverability

Issue B: Inaccurate component counts

Location: "Total Additions" section
Old Values:

  • 40 Custom Hooks (30+ new, 2 documented existing)
  • 27 New UI Components
  • 73+ Total UI Components (27 new + 46 existing shadcn)

Corrected Values:

  • 100+ Custom Hooks (includes all utility and business logic hooks)
  • 70+ New UI Components (custom components)
  • 120+ Total UI Components (custom + 40+ existing shadcn)

Reason: Original counts were incomplete and didn't reflect the full scope of hooks and components in the system. The corrected numbers align with:

  • CODEBASE_ASSESSMENT.md metrics
  • HEALTH_CHECK.md metrics
  • Actual file counts in /src/hooks/ (100+ files)
  • Actual file counts in /src/components/ (70+ custom components)

4. LIVE_DATA_REFRESH.md

Issue: Incorrect API reference for global polling
Location: "Configuration Options" section
Correction: Removed reference to non-existent useIndexedDBLivePolling() function
Reason: The hook doesn't have a global polling configuration function. Each hook instance manages its own polling interval through options.

Old Code Example:

useIndexedDBLivePolling(1000) // This function doesn't exist

Corrected Explanation: Polling interval is set per-hook via options parameter, not globally.
