Build Metrics
Final Build Output:
✓ Compiled successfully in 6.4s
✓ Generating static pages using 3 workers (4/4) in 214.8ms
Route (app)
┌ ○ / (Static homepage)
├ ○ /_not-found (Static 404 page)
└ ƒ /api/users (Dynamic API route with DBAL)
○ (Static) prerendered as static content
ƒ (Dynamic) server-rendered on demand
Statistics:
- TypeScript compilation: ✅ SUCCESS (0 errors)
- Static pages generated: 2
- API routes: 1
- Build time: ~6.5 seconds
- Bundle optimization: Turbopack enabled
Architecture Changes
Database Layer
Before: Direct Spark KV storage
After: Hybrid approach
- Client components: Direct Prisma access (backward compatible)
- Server components: DBAL with Prisma adapter (advanced features)
Component Architecture
Before: Vite SPA with client-side rendering only
After: Next.js App Router with:
- Server Components for static content
- Client Components for interactive features
- Proper boundaries with
'use client'directives - API Routes for server-side operations
DBAL Integration
- Server-only module:
src/lib/database-dbal.server.ts - Prisma adapter: Fully configured and working
- Type mapping: DBAL User ↔ App User types
- Example usage:
/api/usersroute
Key Features Preserved
✅ All 5 security levels (public, user, admin, god, supergod)
✅ Prisma database integration
✅ Tailwind CSS styling
✅ shadcn/ui components
✅ Authentication system
✅ Lua script execution
✅ Component hierarchy system
✅ Package management
✅ Multi-tenant support

Known Issues & TODOs
Minor Items
- Google Fonts temporarily disabled (network restrictions) - using link tags
tw-animate-cssimport commented out - pending Turbopack resolution- Audit log storage using console.log - TODO: database implementation
- Modular package storage stubbed - TODO: database implementation
Future Enhancements
- Implement persistent KV storage (currently in-memory)
- Re-enable Google Fonts with next/font optimization
- Re-enable tw-animate-css with proper import
- Create more API routes for DBAL operations
- Add SSR/SSG optimization where beneficial
- Implement image optimization with next/image
Testing Checklist

npm run dev) - Production build works (
npm run build) - All 5 levels accessible
- Authentication flow works
- Database operations function correctly
- DBAL API routes work
- Styling renders correctly
- Interactive components work
Automated Testing
- Run Playwright E2E tests
- Verify no console errors
- Check bundle size
- Performance benchmarks
