GitHub Issues Implementation Summary

Overview

Successfully created comprehensive GitHub issue templates and detailed feature issues for the WizardMerge project, covering project specifications and all future features from the roadmap.

What Was Created

1. Issue Templates (.github/ISSUE_TEMPLATE/)

Four professional issue templates for community contributions:

a. Bug Report (bug_report.yml)

  • Structured form with dropdowns and text areas
  • Component selection (Backend, Qt6, Next.js, CLI, etc.)
  • Detailed sections: description, reproduction steps, expected/actual behavior
  • Environment information
  • Logs and error messages
  • Additional context

b. Feature Request (feature_request.yml)

  • Component and roadmap phase selection
  • Problem statement and proposed solution
  • Alternatives considered
  • Benefits analysis
  • Implementation notes

c. Documentation Improvement (documentation.yml)

  • Documentation type selection (README, API docs, user guide, etc.)
  • Location of documentation needing improvement

d. Configuration (config.yml)

  • Links to Discussions, Documentation, and Roadmap
  • Enables blank issues for flexibility
